These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of newsrush.life and related services operated by NewsRush Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202918537M) ("NewsRush," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or using our brief formats, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. About NewsRush
NewsRush is an independent Singapore newsroom publishing editorial content on business, technology and urban life. We are not a marketing agency, state media outlet, political campaign platform or investment advisory service. Content is provided for general information purposes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit forms or subscribe to paid brief licences. Users between 13 and 18 may read public content with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or republish content without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, reporter tools or source databases
- Submit false news tips, spam or malicious content through our forms
- Misrepresent affiliation with NewsRush or reproduce our branding without consent
- Use our content to imply endorsement of products, political candidates or investment schemes
- Interfere with website operation or other users' access
4. Intellectual property
All editorial content on newsrush.life — including text, layout, graphics, logos, rush edition structure and brief format templates — is owned by NewsRush Pte. Ltd. or licensed to us. Content is protected by Singapore copyright law and international treaties.
Permitted use: You may read, bookmark and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Brief formats licensed to your organisation may be redistributed internally with the editorial disclaimer footer intact.
Prohibited use: Commercial republication, systematic scraping, translation for resale, removal of attribution or creation of derivative databases requires prior written consent from [email protected].
5. Editorial disclaimer
NewsRush delivers fast, independent Singapore news briefings across business, technology and urban life. We are not state media, a political outlet, marketing agency or paid influence network. Stories may be updated as facts develop. Commentary is editorial opinion, not financial or legal advice. Reader discretion is advised on rapidly changing technology and market topics.

6. Brief format subscriptions
Free brief subscriptions during our 2026 launch period may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice. Enterprise brief licences are governed by separate written agreements specifying delivery method, user count, redistribution rights and fees.

7. User submissions
When you submit news tips, feedback or contact form messages, you grant NewsRush a non-exclusive licence to use that content for editorial and operational purposes. You represent that your submission does not violate third-party rights or applicable law.
We are not obligated to publish, respond to or credit every submission. Editorial decisions remain solely with NewsRush.
8. Third-party links and sources
Our content may reference or link to third-party websites, regulatory filings and company announcements. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for its accuracy or availability. Links do not constitute endorsement.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, newsrush.life and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NewsRush Pte. Ltd., its directors, employees and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of profits, data or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall not exceed SGD 100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NewsRush Pte. Ltd. from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of our content or infringement of third-party rights through your submissions or conduct.
12. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For enterprise licence holders, contractual terms in signed agreements prevail over conflicting website Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts for disputes arising from these Terms or your use of newsrush.life, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
